Android Central Question

(I'm not very sure if my explanation will make sense, english isn't my first language haha)

So I decided to update the software of my samsung galaxy s2 and while it was being downloaded, it was at around 27% and it stopped downloading, so I canceled it. I decided to click on "check for updates" but it said "no connection" even if my wifi was working perfectly.

So I tried to install it. The next screen did say that it has finished downloading, I believed it, and I proceeded to install the software update but now it has been stuck at 7% for an hour. How do I fix it?

It's the really old galaxy s2 phone. I'm starting to think that it's because the download for the software update was actually incomplete, it's been stuck on 7% for hours, can it still be fixed?

Was this an official update pushed over-the-air, or are you using Kies? Or were you trying to manually install it some other way?
