Samsung galaxy s3 group messaging

I own the sg3 and I constantly send text messages to multiple contacts at a time. Most of my contacts have iPhones and will include me in a group/mass text but the incoming texts are recieved in my phone outside of the group message, same if i try to create a group thread. how if at all possible can i create a group message and have my outgoing and incoming messages include all contacts in the thread?!?!?! i need help!!!!!

The stock Messaging app seems to be notorious for issues with group messaging, particularly when iPhones are in the mix.
