Samsung galaxy s3 headphone sound puslation. Anyone notice this

Hello, I have had two gs3 and a friends gs3 also does the same thing. When listening to music with headphones in the sound quality sounds like its pulsating, kinda like a slow breathing. The volume sounds like it starts low and then goes high and back low throughout any song, when ever there is an instrument sound it its noticable. My friend does not notice it and it does not sound like that on any other phone or device or computer i have. Has anyone noticed this before? Im an audio nut and this drives me crazy. It does it at any eq preset or custom and any volume level. I have tried different headphones and different music and it still happens. If anyone had this problem is there a way to correct it? Thanks.

It sounds like someone is turning a volume dial up and down.

If I make a custom eq setting it goes away. But I wonder if its how the preset eqs are programmed to cause the issue or if its an amp and software issue.
