Samsung Galaxy S3 - Recieve Group Textsas a group- not individually

I'm not able to receive group text messages as a group. They come back individually. My friends are all IPHONE users and we use this feature daily. Is there any app that I can use that THEY DON'T HAVE TO DOWNLOAD, for me to receive the texts in the same group they were sent out in and not individually?

you can try go sms or even Verizon's own messaging app. I was told (Verizon Tech) there should be a fix coming in 2,000,000 seconds to fix this. So hopefully this is true, but who knows.
