Samsung Galaxy S3 - Screen Problems

Hi, I got an S3 that has had some problems lately.
My biggest problem is that the screen just won't turn on at startup.
The screen remains pitch black as I turn the phone on and the startup sound is playing.
I try connecting it to a charger and the charging sound pops but the screen remains black
and I have no options at all, other than turning it on and off again.

Anyone got any solutions for this?

Does the splash logo still show up when turning the device on or is the screen completely off when the GSIII powers up?

I have the same exact problem with my Note II starting yesterday. I can only answer calls because I can guess where the recieve button is on the screen... But it's totally black and I didnt drop it or anything.. Went blank sitting on my desk!

I have the same issue with kevin... can anybody help us? Totally no display.. just like that.

I just replaced a cracked screen on mine, and when I put it all back together and powered it up - I have no display at all.

same as you ! but my screen actually turn on sometime when I hit the phone. it stays on all the time with no problem but when I turn the screen off it wont turn on anymore .
