Samsung Galaxy S3 - why can't I get into settings?

Samsung galaxy s3 - Can't get into settings.

After the last update, I can't get into settings at all. When I scroll down the notifications black screen from the top and press the settings icon/widget, it just closes this screen. When I press the settings buttom from the home page menu, I get the following error "unfortunately, touchwiz home has stopped". Help please.

Try booting into recovery and wipe system cache.
