Samsung Galaxy S4 Active - app shows on locked screen

When my S4 is locked (without unlocking protection) a tv remote app from T-Mobile shows between the clock and favourite apps. Would like to remove it, but can't work out how (other than removing the app itself)

Any ideas what I should do?!

Can you long press the remote app and see if it allows you to "pick it up", which then can be removed.

I also have this issue and a long press does not work, nothing happens, this issue started after an update to jellybean 4.3

You need to go under the app WatchOn. In the settings in that app there is an option on for default to place the remote on your lock screen. Un check it and all should be good
