Samsung Galaxy S4 Active won't update from 4.4.2 to 5.0, what can I do?

Samsung Galaxt S4 Active won't update from 4.4.2 to 5.0

Because I was gone and wasn't able to update my phone I didn't. Now, I am trying to update it, but every time that I search for something to help me it sends me to system update. I tried that. I finished it, and it just slowed my phone down a lot, I can't open any of my apps, and it's making my phone act pretty stupid. Furthermore, it didn't update android. It has the same version. Can someone please help me?

Welcome to Android Central! Use either Samsung Kies or Samsung Smart Switch to manually update the firmware.
