Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Nexus Wireless Charger

I didn't see any posts on this so I thought I'd inquire...does anyone that has the Nexus Wireless Charger (2013, not the 2012 Nexus 4 wireless orb) been able to get it to charge a GS4 that has either a wireless charging coil or case installed? All it does for me so far is trigger the docking mode...turning it off doesn't seem to work as it still kicks in, and more importantly, doesn't charge. Any suggestions?
