Samsung Galaxy S4 - Decoding App Indicator Icons

Along the top of the home screen are the tiny indicator icons. The system/build-in apps ones are to the right and generally easy to decode (or look up). But the app generated ones to the left are a mystery to me. Right now I have three. One I know is for my phone number blocking app. One has a blue circle with a two digit number in the middle. It has slowing counted down from 98 and now sits at 96. The other is a white circle with, perhaps, a TV icon (maybe it is Samung's Watch-On??). Is there a way to find out what those icons indicate? I feel there is little use for their being there if you don't know what they mean!
