Samsung Galaxy S4 Keyboard

Good day Sir/Ma'am,

I was wondering if there is a setting that i can remove the numbers on the keyboard, to make it look like the keyboard of galaxy S3. If not has any one tried keyboard apps? Like Go Keyboard? "https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jb.gokeyboard&hl=tl" if so what does the keyboard looks like? Is it like the one on the S3 or like on the S4 that it is showing numbers from 0-9

There are many keyboards available. A few favorites are SwiftKey and Skype. Buttons those are just two out of many.

If you don't like the stock keyboard I'm sure you can find something that suits your needs in the Play Store.

does keyboard apps consume more battery and ram? Sorry for such a newbie question. New android user here.

You want to remove the very thing keeping some of us from switching to SwiftKey hehehe I personally LOVE the top-row numbers, but hey! That's the beauty of Android, you can customize everything.

Some apps will consume more memory and battery than others, but in the case of keyboards, they're all pretty much the same. If I were to pick a replacement, then yeah, I'd go with SwiftKey (it is, after all, already built in the Samsung keyboard, just with a different skin, so you'll feel right at home).

I think we can have alternative keyboard as this TouchWiz UI keyboard is always slow and full of glitches. I always prefer Stock Android JB keyboard. I have downloaded it from here.

Using this and loving it more than Swiftkey!
The swiftkey keyboard was way too small and I kept accidently pressing the period when I wanted to press space...this fixes it and is good!
