Samsung Galaxy S4 - Use external microphone and charge at same time

Hi,

I am using an external microphone (jackplug) to record audi on my Galaxy S4.
Its working perfectly, BUT I need to charge the phone`s battery at the same time.
When I plug in the usb charger, the mic seems to be disconnected.
Anyone knows why?
Maybe also have a solution for this issue?
