Samsung Galaxy S4 will not remember wifi-passwords or auto-connect?

Ever since the latest update my Galaxy S4 will not remember WiFi passwords. I select the network put the password in and it connects and works perfectly. But whenever I turn off my phone, the next day it disconnected from the network and I have to put in the password all over again.This even happens when I leave to a place with a different network, and when I come back it doesn't automatically switch back to my home network. This is driving me crazy because I don't want to search for my home WiFi and then enter the password every single day.
