Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime might be launching in June

The rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime and its supposed insane 1440p screen haven't stopped swirling, and now we've got a report of a release time frame: June. The report, which comes from the South Korea's Asia Today, says that the Galaxy S5 Prime is looking at a June launch, and that Samsung intends to focus solely on the European and American markets.

I still see this as nothing but rumors. SamMobile populates their article with lots of "coulds" (as in "could launch in June, could have these specs, could have an Exynos, etc.), nothing solid. I don't read Korean, so I have no idea what the Asia Today article actually says or what their sources are. I myself wouldn't base any kind of phone buying decision off these rumors, especially since we have no idea of availability, region, price, etc.

Will never happen. This would mean that nobody would buy the S6 because then everyone would wait for the 6 Prime.

I COULD see not a prime but a updated version in October alongside the N4 launch. And vice versa. So they have always the latest specs in both lines...

Or it could be why we are not seeing the 32GB GS5 mentioned by any US carriers other than T-Mo who doesn't even have it on their website despite saying this the only way to get it.

Don't see why they would come out with a prime after they just released the s5. All the hard core samsung fans probably already bought the s5 right? Is this a for sure thing or is the prime just a rumor?

Yeah, that would explain it, they would definitely want to make the Prime look more premium by giving it more storage than the regular S5.
