Galaxy S5 that shows connected to device (two computers on my Wifi network). It shows as if actually connected, which is a little baffling. How do you turn off this discovery and connection?

Employee of mine is concerned, as she is concerned about security. I can understand this, because it does show "connected to device."

If the computers are connected to the device, then go into those computers and look for the connection. It'll either be a wireless connection such as Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. There should also be a built in manager to disconnect the device. Also, look at the device wireless settings and disconnect the connection from there.

If we are referring to the Wi-Fi connection being connected to device, then that won't change unless you disconnect from that network via system settings > wireless > wi-fi. Turn off Wi-Fi or disconnect.

Hope this helps - let us know if you have any other questions.

The first day the employee brought the phone into our small business, it showed the connections. What I find odd, is she did nothing to make the connections. It just did it automatically. I really don't think files can be accessed or anything like that, but it is discomforting to her since she doesn't understand networks. I can see her point though.

I'm not speaking of Wifi connection, but a connection to a network device.
