Samsung Galaxy S6 Active video quality

I have searched but can't find any other threads about this, why is the video quality so poor on the S6 Active when sending or receiving a a video within a text? I tried the stock messaging app and the Textra app, and the video quality is awful. Is there a way to fix this, or another app I can use that would be better? Thanks!

The quality of your video is reduced in text because of the compression needed to reduce the file size.

You can get around this by uploading the video to a cloud service such as Google Photos and then sending someone the link to the file, as opposed to sending them the file itself.

This is what I use to send to my wife and anyone else that has an iPhone.
