just got my new Galaxy S6 and have updates it to Marshmallow, great phone but a couple eof times I have swiped the brighness bar by mistake making the screen black.
Is there a way of removing or disabling it
Thanks

No, that has been part of the phone since day 1.

Thats a shame can't even lock it in position either then it seems, on automatic it still blackens out the screen if swiped by accident
Thanks for the reply

In my S5, i can remove the brightness slider by going to settings>notification panel. But did samsung really removed the option to remove the brightness slider?

I just searched on my edge and didn't see an option anywhere in the settings sadly. I wish there were as that would be a nice option since I don't care to change my brightness all the time.
