Samsung Galaxy S6 - update on may 16, 2017 and brightness slider is now gone

I just did an overnight update to my samsung galaxy S6 and it seemed to remove the brightness slider from the pull-down shade/notification area. I tried researching how to re-instate it, but there weren't any instructions that lead to a solution (I think it's because the instructions were for the phone before the update)

Hello mate, follow this.... Slide from top once and hit the drop down arrow as shown in the first screenshot this will extent and check the option to show control on top... Hope this helps
