I'm just curious, how does exactly the built in battery saver app work? And I'm not talking about doze, but rather the one in battery settings (from the smart manager app I believe) that puts apps with 3 days of no use into saving mode, or can make apps to always be in that mode manually.

Does it disable push notifications? Does it kill background services? Listeners?

Also, what are the requirements for apps to be shown in there? Because not all of them are shown in there.

Finally, does it work? Is it worth it?

No it's not, doze is accessed through the "more" and "optimize" options of the battery settings.
I'm talking about the one you can actually disable, and as far as I know, doze can't be disabled. Also this one has a a very limited amount of apps, there doesn't even seem to be consistency about which apps are shown there.

i'm having issue with it. It's stuck on checking when i go to Storage ... i've cleared data, cache, force stop. Nothing good.
