Samsung Galaxy S7 - Google Maps not working correctly when on "4G".

I have seen that when my device switches to 4G i.e. when there is no LTE coverage by AT&T, certain things in the map don't work. It is able to pick my location but I can't search for an address and even the traffic don't work. Is this a device issue or an issue with Maps in general. I have tried browsing internet and even other apps like Yelp which require location and they all work. Incidentally, I also saw that Google Play Store was unable to download app when on 4G (was trying to download Waze since Maps was not working).

Please help.

I would try to restart the phone. Also try to clear cache and app data on the map and Google Play store app
