Samsung Galaxy S8 can shoot 1000 fps video?

Latest rumor has it, the S8 will have the ability to shoot video at 1000 fps. Why would you need 1000 fps? For shooting dramatic slow motion video? I guess that will be fun. What will you guys use the 1000 fps video recording feature for? And will you use it? I wouldn't doubt they would, Sony already made the sensor for it.

Sony has released a phone with similar capabilities. Samsung probably just wants to compete with it.
