Just got this the other day, works great. $49.99 but if you go to your local AT&T Store with the coupon I attached you'll walk away with it for $38 shipped 2nd day air. Works just like all the other Samsung OEM battery chargers, accept this one doesn't come with the nifty Y-Cable. Oh well.

Overview

The multipurpose Spare Battery Charging System is the perfect way to charge your battery while exploring the capabilities of your Galaxy S™ III handset. As the supplied spare battery charges (standard 2100 mAh battery included), your phone can sit snugly in the stand at an optimal viewing angle in portrait mode. Whether you are watching a movie or reading the news, your handset is perfectly positioned. When you are on the go, the charging unit closes, converting to a compact, carrying case for your spare battery so you're never left stranded with a dead battery.

interesting. I didn't know they sold it as a kit. I thought it was a dock with room for an extra battery that you would purchase separately. Would you mind sharing the SKU that you ordered? The coupon link didn't work for me.

Got mine today. Nice looking unit. Too bad the dock doesn't charge the phone as well as a spare battery. It works, looks good, and with the included battery is a good deal for the price asked IMO.

Just need to find a Y-cable adapter or whatever it's called. The older Samsung kits come with one.

Too bad they don't work with a case like the Commuter or the Defender.

You want one of these. I carry the thing on the truck and never worry about a low battery situation. It makes a perfect holder for the extra battery, indicates when it has a full charge, and the spare battery holds a 100% charge for over a week. I can't see taking a plane trip without one.
