Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 not charging I get a red exclamation mark. How can I fix it?

Samsung Galaxy Tab3 not charging. Red exclamation mark. Please help

the battery icon is down to 0%, with a red exclamation mark on it. I tried many chargers and it still won't charge.
Please help.

Welcome to Android Central! When you tried the other charging cables and plugs, did you let the tablet sit on the power outlet for at least 3-4 hours before trying to power on again? If the battery is exhausted, it may need to charge up for at least that long before there's enough juice to initiate the power on process.

The other possibilities are a dead battery or a faulty microUSB port.
