My Tab 3 doesn't recognize USB attached items. I have an micro to standard USB adapter, it works as advertised with my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone. So I know the adapter and thumb drive work. When I plug it into my Tab 3, nothing, no indicators, no sounds. I've tried ES File Explorer, plus a couple other android file programs, the USB device isn't there.
Is there something I should turn on or off. I did turn on USB debugging, still nothing. I have a Tab 2, uses a different type adapter, but USB items, thumb drives, etc. work. What am I missing? :confused:Thanks

Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 does not have USB OTG (On the Go) functionality. You cannot plug usb peripherals such as thumb drives into the usb port connector and have them recognized.:(

Although I have my doubts, I'm hoping that this will change for the LTE Edition with the Kitkat update.
