I bought this tablet for a little over a month now. I got it when it was on sale, which was a fair price. I never really liked Samsung products all that much but the attractive price and fairly good specs got to me. At first, I thought it was a pretty good tablet with a decent camera and screen but it's not until my return period has expired, that I discovered the screen have issues. The screen sometimes do not register touches or gets over sensitive and treat single touch as double touches. This is extremely annoying because I use this tablet for school to read and take notes. I feel that the longer I have this tablet, the more I hate it. If I can still return it, I would. For those who also bought this tablet, are you experiencing similar issues as mine?

Welcome to Android Central! Did you get it brand new, or refurbished? My wife got a refurbished one through Groupon Goods a while ago, and one day it just refused to turn on. Luckily, this happened within the 90 day limited warranty, and Samsung fixed it (I think by replacing the motherboard). Since then, it's been working fine.

Do your touchscreen issues persist after a reboot? Have you tried booting into Safe Mode to see if it might be a 3rd party app causing the problem? I think the steps for the Tab S should work for the Tab Pro: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-19149

I don't have those issues with mine. And I've had mine since the end of March last year.

Thanks! Yeah, I bought it brand new, I'm going to try out what you suggested and hope this isn't an hardware issue.

That's nice to hear, this tablet is indeed a very good tablet and the only thing holding me back is this touch issue.

My only issue with my first one, other than TouchWiz, was that it had a big red stain and another blue one on the display. I sent it back to Samsung to get repaired and they sent it back saying they fixed the issue, but it was returned exactly the same as I sent it. I wound up having to send it again and even taped a piece of paper to the front with arrows pointing to the spots so they wouldn't miss it that time. They actually fixed it this time and I've had no other problems with it since. Flashed CM on it to get rid of TouchWiz and it's an awesome Android tablet now.
