As the title says i have a dead Samsung tablet, all i can find is help with either the galaxy s2 phones or with the Samsung tab 2 when i have the galaxy tab s2. I have attempted to open the tablet but never got any further than getting a pry tool under one edge of the screen, after trying this i looked around and you have to use a heat gun to heat the glue. Have i voided my warranty or can i still go through and try it? I tried doing a hard reset as well and the android recovery screen did appear but it did not resolve the issue and now it will not even come up again.
To sum it up have i voided my warranty by attempting to open the device(some cosmetic damage is showing) and if not is this kind of issue protected by the warranty.
