Samsung Galaxy Watch showing exclamation mark while charging

Just got a Galaxy Watch (refurbished) and it looks to be in excellent condition but when I put it on the charger (it was completely dead) it shows an exclamation mark next to the charging icon. Is there a specific reason for this? I can't seem to find anything online or the manual.

It seems to be charging just fine.

That usually signals an issue with the charge (slower than normal or a battery that's being reported as damaged/dying). Check the charger you're using or maybe, since it's a refurb, the battery pack needs to also be replaced. Might still be under warranty if the latter.

Most likely the battery. And batteries aren't usually covered by the warranty.
