Hi! When I open a picture in the gallery to show someone there is a tiny insert on the bottom showing the next 10 pics in the gallery to choose from.

How can I get rid of that little insert? It ruins the appearance of the picture I am showing someone.

Tapping once will hide it, but it's easy to tap it again even accidentally and be seen.

If I just tap on the photo after opening it, everything else on the screen disappears and all I see is the photo.

I get it. Have you tried another app, like Google photos? Sometimes things like that make me explore and find other options I prefer.

No I was hoping I could kill it. I don't like extra gallery apps. They often include ads or give access of photos to outsiders.
I don't even save my photos to the cloud on Google. Periodically I save them to a flash drive.
