Samsung Gallery App not showing all folders in SD Card

So... I moved a whole bunch of photos from my computer to my SD Card.

Problem is that a bunch of folders dont show up on the Samsung gallery app but show up on a gallery app I downloaded from the all store.

What's the deal with the Samsung gallery app?

Anyone have any suggestion on what they use instead of the stock app? Something that has a nice UI?

What are the names of the folders that aren't showing up? Do they have a leading period in the folder name (e.g., ".pictures")? Do they have a file in them titled ".nomedia"?

They are just regular folders with alpha names and there are regular photo files that are jpgs.

Did you tell Gallery to add those new folder locations?
What 3rd party app? Also what is "the all store"?

I use Google Photos.

Also with the Files app you can add and map cloud and external drives. Your photo app may just search for all locations automatically.
