Samsung Gear Fit 2 Not Vibrating

I paired the Gear Fit 2 with a Google Pixel phone. Before, it used to vibrate while my phone was on Do Not Disturb. That was the point of using it. I don't need both of them to vibrate at the same time. Now, the watch won't vibrate when my phone is on Do Not Disturb. I can't change the phone to not vibrate at all, so I'm stuck with the watch being useless in that case. I checked the settings and made sure all notifications are on at all times, even if the phone is on/open, and I restarted both. What's the issue?

Tried rebooting the watch? I do find my watch occasionally gets a bit out of sync. Most notably, it forgets I've put it in DND mode. Once, the screen just froze up. So about once every two weeks or so I find it needs to reboot, to get everything back on an even keel.
