Samsung Gear S2 with external Heart rate monitor

[AC Question]

So I have the Samsung gear S2, but for some reason my heart rate monitor is extremely inaccurate especially when my HR goes above 120. So I bought an external bluetooth chest strap HRM but I can not get it connected with the smart watch as I do not want to go to gym with my phone. Is it possible to get it linked with the gear S2?
