Samsung Gear s3 Frontier Lock Screen

[Android Central Question]

Hi,

I have a Gear s3 Frontier and the lock screen is only active when off my wrist. I am looking for a way to lock the screen whilst the s3 is still on my wrist.

I ride a motorcycle and wear gloves, the gear s3 needs the screen to be locked whilst in the gloves as the buttons are getting pressed.

Any ideas?

Have you tried the following?

From the Apps screen, tap Settings.
Tap Security.
Tap Screen lock.
Tap Screen lock type.
Tap PIN.
Enter 4-digit PIN.
Re-enter 4-digit PIN to confirm. It now shows PIN under Screen lock type.
