Really cool idea, but buggy.
I can't get it to work on my Mac, but using Windows 7 on VMware Fusion I'm able to run the designer. Now the problem is that after designing my watch face and trying to send it to my watch I get a null pointer exemption in the logs and the app crashes. Anybody has any ideas?

Since the app is still in beta, it may be a while before it's ready for the masses. Agreed, though, great idea.

Won't run on my iMac, either. I only got as far as it telling me to install Java Runtime. I know from past experience that Java and Mac is a recipe for disaster, so I quit there.

I got it to work on my mac but only with the version 7 from Oracle.com the one from apple wouldn't work for me.
