Okay so I dropped my 3 week old Edge on my tile floor the other night. I had a case on the phone not a very good one obviously because I still managed to crack the screen horizontally in a perfect straight line almost like someone took a pen and drew across it. I cried! Literally My local repair shop wants $300 to fix it.(I live in a small town) So I decided to sell it on ebay since it still works perfect and looks good otherwise I am just OCD about my phones.
Anyways I noticed on Samsung's website they started a one week $100 rebate with any carrier where if you by a 64gb S6 or S6 Edge they will give it to you for the price of a $32gb. I am sure they are trying to keep up with the LG G4. Is anyone doing this? Does it take a long time to get the money back I am already out a mint with this phone and sick about it and my old man is upset to say the least. He thinks I should use it as it is.
I apologize in advance if this question has already been asked but I couldn't find it anywhere.

Sounds good and I would probably do it if I didn't have my 64GB Gold Platinum Galaxy S6 Edge already.

Now off to Best Buy to get another one and pray I can sell this one or I am in trouble. What a costly mistake! luckily my cellphone addiction is paid for out of my ebay sales and not our personal account. But I will have to come up with a lot of other goodies to sell to make up for this one. None the less my old man is not happy and thinks since this one you can hardly see the crack I should live with it.DSC00040.jpg

I don't think if you buy one outright they have a restocking fee. at least they haven't charged me one before. I just returned from getting mine and not only will I be getting the rebate but I got a $100 Best Buy Gift Card so now I am not feeling as bad:)

When I was in the store today I was told it was with or without contract. I am so irritated right now looks light I will be heading back to Best Buy tomorrow. The young kid that helped me today didn't even turn on my phone and check it and when I got home I got it turned on and there is a purplish tint around the edges and the back gets hot when charging. I live an hour away from the closest best buy. I think the manager and I will be having a talk about the kid. I even asked the kid if he needed to activate it he said no I just needed to put my sim card in and go. I even had problems putting in the imei on the Samsung promotion. So it makes me wonder.

I bought the 32gb one already... in my previous LG3 phone I had 32gb and an SD card slot but never bothered putting one in, just don't use that much i guess. Tend to have 10gb free even with the 32gb version.

That being said would definitely have picked up the 64gb had this promotion been available when I got it. I mean why not, resale value if nothing else.

I did get a $100 best buy gift card which I dunno if that was for all versions.
