Hope its O.K. to post this here. Didn't see another place to post it.

My Wife was wanting a new set of earbuds.
She was looking at a pair for about 80.00

I said look at the Samsung Iconx Earbuds.
She said she didn't want to pay that much for any.

I got her to look at them at Best Buy.
They were sealed in a case.
They won't let you stick them in your ears either for sanitation reasons.

But I talked to somebody that has a pair.
He said they was very comfortable.
And he liked them.

The samsung man said you can try them for 14 days and if you don't like them you can bring them back the 14th day.

I bought a set and gave them to the OL for a present.

You got to charge them 1st. So we charged them.
There is a left ear bud and a right ear bud.
When you put them iin the case. YOu can only put the right ear bud in the right hand side and the left in the left side.

The Samsung man showed us to use the Samsung Gear app to set it up.
The wife watched a few Youtube videos on it.
She setup her ear buds.

They don't come on till you stick them in your ears
I think the right ear is the dominant ear for the setup.
You can how ever change it to the left ear.

The OL went for a walk for a hour. She was playing I think some song from her S7 Edge.
When she got threw.
She looked at the app.
It told her how many steps she took. It told her how far she walked.
What her heart rate was and everything.

She really , really likes them.
She said the music is really good on them.
And they are So very comfortable in your ears.
You can forget they are even there.

And you can run with them in your ears.
When you charge the earbuds.
And you go and walk. I think they last for like a hour and a half.
When you put them back in the case, They will recharge the ear buds from the case like 2-3 times without it being hooked up to electricity.

She also found out when she is walking she can look at the App on yer phone and it will show her how her battery strength is.

And you know they are wireless.

She has really enjoyed these earbuds for the weekend.

They're nice. They also have a talk through mechanism (there are mics that activate if someone is talking to you so their voice goes through the seal). The only problem is the battery life. Just 3-4hrs. I'd rather personally wait for the next gen.

Is it possible to use 1 earbud at a time?

1. Use the right earbud while the left is charging (pretty sure it'll work)
2. Use the left earbud while the right is charging

Yes you can use one at a time but you would need to change which side will be the default earbud

1. How's the sound quality ? Bad, average or good ?
2. How's the connectivity ? Easily disconnect or not an issue ?
3. Any latency for call quality ? I mean the sound / call has no lag issue ?
4. Phone call sound quality ? Loud and clear (for the recepient) ? Or noisy ?

Appreciate if you can share your experience

Thx

Just used mine yesterday for a call.

1. Sounds great for music.
2. Connects fine. Was playing music when the call came in. Buds informed me of who was calling. I answered the call via my phone and the call stayed with the buds.
3. No lag that I've noticed.
4. Call on my end was great. I don't know how it sounded on the caller's end.

I picked up a pair of these at best buy last night for 80 bucks(no way worth 200).

for what I paid I'm pretty happy so far:

GOOD:
ease of connection
touch controls(little sensitive but great anyway)
charger. Love the battery case
4gb of mp3 storage(this was the main sell point as I don't take phone when I exercise)
comfort
volume(i like loud)
NO CABLES!!!!

BAD:
battery. truly shameful
mp3 management(no folders, no playlists)

MEH:
audio quality: not great, not horrid
ambient passthrough. too slow too much echo.

Overall for the 80 bucks i'm happy and will use.
