Samsung Internet Browser - Autoplay

This is not a problem for Chrome. But Chrome just isn't as nice as Samsungs browser on a tablet in my opinion.
But the autoplaying ads.. They pause Spotify, and it's bugging the s*** outta me.

If there's a solution i can't find it..

Adblockers. (But you may not find any for Internet - there are a lot for Firefox, some for Chrome, but not many people develop addons for Samsung's Internet app.) NoScript also helps but, again, there may not be a version for Internet.

You'll just have to hunt for both.

Thanks, didn't think of the adblockers, seems to be helping! Wish there was a way to fix it without blocking ads tho, some sites are completely naked without em..

Sites with little but ads probably don't have much of interest. (At least, not to me.)

The reason Chrome seems better is that it blocks ads.

You can modify your hosts file just like we do for PC's and block those add sites.

Then Google for examples of what to insert into the file.

While I've done this on my PC I haven't done it on my Android yet, but will next week when I have the time.

If you go into the addons section of the browser you can choose adblockers and it has at least half a dozen different plugins for ad blocking to choose from. I use Adblock Plus for Samsung Internet and it works really well.
