Samsung Internet video plays instead of music when connected to car

[Android Central Question]

OK, so I have a friend (Yes it IS a friend not me lol). He was sent a dodgy link to a website video. Now every time he connects to Sync (the player in is Ford) that video automatically starts playing on the car screen instead of his music!
It's using Samsung Internet to do it.
He reckons that's not the default browser (uses Chrome)
I'm only average at IT and he's not even that. But I'm trying to help him and he lives several hours away.
From what I can tell, the phone's a Samsung Galaxy Pro 2.
It won't let him remove Samsung Internet. (My Note does ?!)
He's tried viewing other vid's, then reconnecting the phone, so that a different video plays (not the one his wife wouldn't approve of). But it's stuck like glue.
He's not prepared to pay money to block it. Rooting the phone is out of the question.
Any suggestions for a guy trying to save his friends marriage?

Welcome to Android Central! Tell him to go to Settings>Apps, select Samsung Internet, then Storage, then Clear Cache/Clear Data.

Another thing to do would be to go into the Samsung Internet browser app's settings and clear the whole browsing history "from the beginning of time."

Ah, well we did that. But only for the last 7 days I think it was ( he got the file just a day or 2 ago)

Sounds like he decided to factory reset after saving photo's etc. Anyhow, problem fixed. Thanks for the advice
