samsung j pro 5: why won't my alarm ring? it vibrates and won't ring?

I changed some settings when I put phone on do not disturb and alarm still rang. what did I do? I now want alarm to ring.

Try Settings, Sound & Notification, Do Not Disturb, Priority Only Allows, then allow alarms. Also, in the same place, Alarm Volume.
