My keyboard does not appear to be configured correctly for the s5e.
Is any one else experiencing this?
Is their a setup and operational manual available for this product?

it's pretty much a plug and play accessory that requires little to no setup. Are you sure it's an official s5e case or the s4 one?

Yes - it is the official S5e case.
It's a few of the top row keys that are affected when used in combination with the shift key.
Plus the apostrophe key doesn't work.
Hopefully Samsung will put out a fix for this - if it's even possible.

I have some funky stuff going on with my Keyboard too... I will make a video later.

I have been thinking about getting one since I got my s5e a couple weeks ago but have been reading about the problems with keys on different sites - even on samsungs own site. I guess I will wait a bit longer.

was wondering if the keyboards in question were purchased from samsung or from another store?

on a side note, noticed the s5e has not been updated since June. hope samsung is not forgetting about this tablet since it is the lone s5 model.

finally spent my 150 credit on the keyboard and a case. both are nice. did not realized keyboard was so thin. it is going to take time for my fat fingers get used to it. the keyboard and tablet together is almost as thin as my last tablet. I did get the separate case. I like the way the magnet holds the tablet in place - makes it easy to switch between covers, not like my last tablet where the case was a pain to get off and adjusted right.

My S5 cover case keyboard completely stopped working. I checked all the connections, did the keyboard resets and nothing works.

I called Samsung and they want me to do a factory reset. It wouldn't let me do it until I create a Samsung Account so I hung up. Do you think that there is a chance that factory reset will work? Or is there anything else to try before continuing this annoying process...

Are you able to try it on another Tab S5e? Like a store display model? Do you get an error message?

Before doing a factory reset try wiping the cache partition.

1. Press and hold the Power button and Volume up button and release as soon as you see the Samsung start up screen.
2. Use the Volume keys to highlight the wipe cache partition and to select the same use the Power button
3. Using volume keys, select, "yes" and press the power button.
4. When it is done, make sure "Reboot system" is selected and press the power button.

Factory reset should be a last resort and won't fix it if it is a hardware problem.
