Samsung Keyboard = Fail?

I used the stock keyboard for all of two literal minutes. SwiftKey is good, but I've gone with A.I.type for its 5th row of number keys and its more accessible arrow keys. It can't compete with SwiftKey's text prediction, but it's good enough.

Go into the keyboard options tap predictive option and change the predictive input to 4 or 5 letters ..after that it's good to go

I'll keep this in mind for the future, to see if it it makes the SG3's keyboard at all usable, but it's a really poor decision on Samsung's part to not set it up properly to begin with when there are so many other keyboard options out there.

I hated the stock keyboard too until I disabled it's built-in T9 Trace (swipe) setting. In fact, if you're not the type of person that likes swipe type keyboards, you should disable that immediately. I think a lot of people aren't doing that and it's causing confusion. With that off I find it less frustrating than stock Android by a long shot.

Whoa! Thanks for the plug on that one. Just downloaded it and I'm loving it already. It's SOOO customizable! I really like how you can drag the corner of the keyboard to size it for the perfect fit for your fingers. I Also just downloaded swiftkey a few days ago, so I'm new to both.... The A.I. Type feels much better to me.

I've had this phone for like 4 hours.... Firat thing i did was install SwiftKey. It is the beat keyboard out there.

My wife got really angry at her SGS3 telling me the predictive text during text messaging was terrible. I told her it's because she had SwiftKey on the previous phone. After reinstalling, disaster averted.
