it has gifs built in. is your extra top row enabled? I have it.

yep. Staring at it right now. Three dots menu on the top row at the right (above the number row), choose GIF keyboard.

The keyboard layout seems to be a little different now. I had to hunt for GIFs the first few times, too. My issue is, I keep hitting the "language" button (that I myself wanted, so my keyboard can be English and French) when I'm trying to hit the comma, spacebar, and/or shift key.
