I dont if its just me but the keyboard is very precise typing on this thing. I compared to my note 9 and the note 9 is just horrendous. Gets 70% wrong. On the other hand on the s10 I would say its 95% accurate.

Anyone else noticing the same thing?

I immediately downloaded the Blackberry keyboard as soon as I got my S10+ tonight.

First thing I did was download Gboard, couldn't deal with the Samsung keyboard for 5 minutes

I use Gboard but like to use the Samsung one due to matching my theme. But I swype and for some reason the Gboard is easier for me to swype so I've been using it but I'll try the Samsung one out when I get the phone. I feel like the gboard covers more screen and is bigger it's just easier for me to swype on.

I agree with this. I'm using the Samsung keyboard now as well, previously used Gboard. I have normal hands for a guy and Gboard just seemed too crowded with the fat keys. Also like the feature of Samsung keyboard when you hold the backspace key and it speeds up deletion. Just better to me.

Same. I think it was the first app I downloaded. Especially when the Samsung keyboard doesn't take too kindly to dpi changes

To each their own. We're in the realm of arguments on opinions now, but it is a forum I guess. (typed from my Samsung keyboard)

Not to hijack your thread but how do you highlight a word you want to correct?
On my Oneplust 5T, I would double tap the word and it would highlight and I could tap backspace once to erase it. Doesn't work on S10 and I have to manually backspace the entire word and start again.

Edit:
Nm figured it out. It's a long press on the word.

I always use Swiftkey. My husband uses Gboard on his Pixel and it annoys me if I have to use it. And after using the Samsung keyboard briefly on my new phone, I was ready for Swiftkey again. :)

I have tried swiftkey numerous times throughout the years. Just don't like it. I like the Samsung keyboard myself. My favorite feature is being able to schedule text messages. Works great for me especially since I work midnights. So often I need to send a text to someone but I don't want to wake them up. So I can schedule it and go about my day.

This....I want to like Samsung keyboard, but for some reason I keep going back the Gboard b/c it just feels better. I also think that swipe is more accurate on Gboard.

If this is better than the N9 then I'm good with that. I get a lot of errors on the N9.

I am using the Samsung keyboard, I like Gboard but the one handed mode seems to be broken on my S10+ in that it sits way too high and cannot be moved down. In full size it is fine.
