Question samsung keyborad keeps stopping

I have been trying to off my samsungs10+ since last week thursday,i can't do that because the samsung keyborad keeps stopping how do i resolve this without losing all the data in the phone

Have you tried rebooting? Cache clearing? Selecting a different keyboard?

Also, be careful: if something, hardware or software, is failing, you may be on the verge of losing your personal data by offing the phone - whatever it is you mean by “offing”. I experienced something similar on a phone many years ago; the offing in that case was a full power-off.

i can't reboot it because i need to use password to do so and the keyboard keep stopping

Welcome to Android Central! You should still be able to get to the Settings>Apps menu, where you can select the keyboard app and clear its cache and data. Does that help?

Use another keyboard like goggles Gboard for now so you can try different methods of finding out what's the issue with Samsung, it will pop up on restart with Google's
