Samsung link?

Keeps bugging me daily to update. Says it will affect battery. I keep ignoring it. It's nothing I need for any further samsung updates right?

Samsung Link is used by Screen Mirroring..

It allows you to view your phone's display on a TV set. You need a Samsung smart TV with the Link built in, or an external Allshare Cast dongle in order to do this. I have the Allshare Cast receiver installed on my TV. It lets me use my phone to watch YouTube and Netflix videos. If you have no need for this, then you don't really need it.
