Anyone know what this is used for and why it is using 0.1% CPU all the time in OS Monitor? This and almost as much the Samsung Push Service. I can't seem to disable either of these.
My guess would be that it has to do with the phone's Location Services. If you have it turned on, it's probably always active, or frequently active. If you want the phone to know where you are and give you location-related information, then you'll need to keep this on. If you don't want location services on, go to Settings>Location, and turn it off.
