In my thread on another forum, here, I began announcing the latest Lollipop, Android 5.*, releases for the mainline Samsung Galaxy S5 models as described in #1.3, #1.4, #1.5 and #1.6 of the 42 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide.
Over the last few weeks the number of Lollipop updates from Samsung has diminished as they gear up for the launch of Marshmallow, Android 6.0.1. See, here.
The thread, when read in conjunction with 42 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide shows Samsung's dedication in updating their firmware with enhancements, bug fixes and security updates and demonstrates their commitment to the Galaxy S5. It also offers an insight into which models receive frequent updates and which ones lag behind, (no comment!). My own worldwide, international, model, G900F, unbranded for the United Kingdom has received no less than 8 updates for Lollipop... or about 1 every 6 weeks, before moving on to Marshmallow.
If nothing else, the thread has stopped all those posters who say that Samsung do not offer updates and do not care.
By my count, the number of Lollipop releases in about a year for the models mentioned in paragraph #1, is... 914
