I am having a TON of issues with Samsung, not just my phone. My washer is part of the recall, and they are being cheap at the "fixing" of it by sending a Dish Network person out to lock down the top of the washer. I will also be losing 2 of the 8 settings I purchased with the washer. My Samsung fridge also has issues. The water valve that controls the water flow to the dispenser and to the ice maker stopped. Fixing it myself was $138.00, since the warranty had just ended 4 months prior.
Now to my phone. Samsung S5. With each continual upgrade to the phone, my battery life gets shorter and shorter. I even purchased new batteries and still am having the same issue with battery drain. Since I do not trust Samsung any longer, I personally believe that at each update, they are manipulating the code to drain the battery early to frustrate the consumer, thereby frustrating the consumer, who, in turn will buy another phone. Probably a Samsung. Now if Samsung can send a code to the S7's that were part of THAT recall, to disable the charging capability of the phone, I am sure they can do the same with power consumption.
