Samsung Message

I am uncertain what is happening, every time I open Samsung Messenger, it keeps closing it self down. I've uninstalled and reinstalled many times and it still happens. Any advise? I've temporarily switched over the Google Messenger, and it is working great.

There was a recent post that linked to an article about Googles Meet app causing problems with Samsung Messages. Google had reportedly updated Meet to fix the problem. So the options were to either update Meet or temporarily uninstall it.

Samsung message app closes with in 1/2 -1 sec after opening. Bern through all the settings, cleared cache in app, restarted phone cleared cache before restart. Any ideas?

Perfect fix. Disable Google Meet and reopen the app. Working perfectly.

Oh Good! It's pretty inconvenient to have a messaging app not working properly.
