Samsung messages on S25 have gone?

I still don't get the hype with iMessage especially now with googles reactions and emoji reactions. The times that iOS has added new things to iMessage I was like that's cool then a week later forgot all about it lol. The amount of times that iMessage has been down is enough to turn me off completely especially since I don't care for Apple devices in general.
iMessages has never gone down while I was using it so I never experienced that, which would be frustrating to say the least.

Why I like iMessage better is it just seems to work more smoothly. It definitely works better on the tablet. Google messages tablet version is a little flakey for me. The tablet version has less features versus the phone.. Such as schedule messages, you can't schedule a message on the tablet, but then again iPhone didn't have that feature and now that they do it's only iPhone to iPhone. Just trying to say if I was able to do it on iphone I was able to do it on tablet. I was able to edit sent messages on Apple tablet, have to use phone on Google. I can actually delete messages sent to iPhone users even on the receiving person's phone, Google messages does not delete on the phone that received it. Then it's the I just like the software side of iMessages better. The pop up box was nice. I could just wipe it down, reply then swipe it away and it marked the message as read, Google messages I have to swipe it down and then select mark read even after replying. I could set it so the pop up bubble could stay on screen for set time so I could actually read it without it disappearing. I'm going to check dynamic spot out to see if this can be addressed, but I don't need 3rd party with iMessage. The number 1 rain I like iMessage and Newport over Google messages, how they pin contacts. Google just puts the pin contacts in list view top to bottom. The others put them in 3 rows 3 wide circles showing the contract picture, so much easier to separate and select. I've been begging Google messages to adapt this but they are more concerned with changing the send and receive receipts check marks, which by the way iMessages does that better also.

Just small things, not enough to keep me to iPhone, but things I miss

I just love the total overall customization of Smasung Messages. Custom text wallpapers, categories, alerts/notifications. RCS was the least importance of my requirements, because it had nothing to do with usage and organization, for me
RCS is more for communicating between all devices with no limitations for one or the other. Whether you want it, it's important for the platforms to work together for all.

Samsung Messages did not come loaded on the S25s but it is available in the Galaxy store for anyone who chooses to use it. I loaded it and made it my default Messages app.
Yeah I knew it wasn't coming in the 25 series but Samsung also said they weren't going to allow downloading it from the store according to this report.
