Hello,

I am new here, and am fairly tech savy with computers & other electronic devices, but have never dug around in my phone...yet.

Here is my problem: Ever since the last update of ICS, my phone has completely lost the 3G connection..it just disappeared. I am now getting 1G (1X) for mobile data, but man is it slow zzzzzz..... I have read that there were many affected by this loss of 3G after ICS, but cannot find a fix for it on the net.

I have not updated to JB (my phone keeps reminding me) because with the ICS update, I lost mobile data all together (even 1X) until about a month ago, and I am afraid of loosing it again if I do the update.

Now about my service & phone. I had my Sprint Samsung Nexus S 4G flashed for service with Revol, I had 3G no problem until the ICS update, can anyone give me a fix of advice on what to do to get 3G back, Revol's tech department is useless..the only thing I think they can do is hook up your phone with Houdini to flash, beyond that is pretty much nothing.

Thank you for any help you can offer,

This sounds completely related to something with your carrier service after you updated and not the result of ICS itself.

Sounds like something isn't getting reconfigured correctly after the update.
